How to Create a WG Country Report on Disability: Recording Available & Follow Up Webinar Information
Recording Now Available!
Introduction to Creating a Country Report on Disability
In 2020, the Washington Group on Disability Statistics (WG) membership endorsed the development of standard reports on disability from countries. The main purpose of the country disability reports is to disseminate basic, comparable disability statistics for as many countries as possible. The reports are based on disability data collected using the WG Short Set on Functioning, which has been included in the 2020 round of censuses and other censuses and population surveys in a growing number of countries. In addition to featuring completed reports on the WG website, the WG is working with the German Development Corporation (GIZ) to highlight the completed reports at the 2025 Global Disability Summit.
The webinars are designed to introduce and facilitate production of the country reports on disability. You will find additional information about the webinars below.
