Implementation Guidelines: How to use the WG questions
These guidelines provide an overview of the WG methodology actualized in the development of disability data collection modules for censuses and surveys.
In addition to providing background to understanding the development of the WG tools and guidance in their application, question specifications are stipulated for each WG question set, as well as instructions to interviewers.
The first document provides an overview of the WG tools developed and some guidance to users on choosing the correct tool for their purpose. Using the WG tools for the disaggregation of outcome indicators (e.g., access to employment of education) is also covered.

The second document provides an overview of the WG approach (methodology) to the development of questions sets, focusing on the development of the WG-SS. This document includes a few Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Do's & Don’ts to consider when implementing the WG questions.

An Introduction to the Washington Group on Disability Statistics Question Sets
The third – fifth documents provide question specifications for the WG-SS, WG-ES and WG-SS Enhanced respectively. Each document provides a description of each of the questions in the module, including information on the intent of the question, the concepts being measured, and the purpose of the specific language used in order to improve understanding for translation and administration of the questions, as well as analysis of the resulting data.
